AZAHAR International CEO

AZAHAR Foundation (AZF) is a vibrant international community of people who promote a peace culture through yoga, meditation, the arts and supporting methodologies in post-war and developing countries. AZF’s pilot project is in Cambodia, where it operates a Center for Peace, Yoga and the Arts in Phnom Penh. A smaller project is building momentum in Rwanda. AZF is registered as a 501©3 not-for-profit organization in New York, as an association in Switzerland and as an NGO in Cambodia.

AZAHAR Foundation is looking for an exceptionally organized and personable CEO with strong experience in fundraising. Initially, the CEO needs to focus on cultivating and expanding AZF’s network of donors in a persuasive and compelling way. S/he also needs to be highly proficient in grant identification and research, as well as in grant writing and reporting processes. Fundraising is to be managed according to strategy decided by the Founder and the Board. The candidate should be based in New York, Switzerland, London or in Cambodia, have the ability to travel and be fluent in English reading and writing. Additional languages are a plus.
