The World Bank (WB) is the world’s largest multilateral institution with 189 member countries and offices in over 130 locations. The Bank works in every major area of development. It provides a wide array of financial products and technical assistance and is committed to developing sustainable solutions that will reduce poverty and build shared prosperity in developing countries.

Since 1947, the World Bank has funded over 12,000 development projects via traditional loans, interest-free credit, and grants. In 2020, the Bank, together with its partner institutions, delivered record levels of financing at an unprecedented pace amounting to US$98.8 billion.

In response to the increasing interest from the development community towards the World Bank’s operations, DevelopmentAid will host a thematic webinar on 18 November 2021 to explore the Bank’s procurement framework and discover the best practices for fruitful collaboration.

During the webinar, attendees will learn about WB’s operations, portfolio, and procurement policy. Nancy will share several tips on how to find and prepare for business opportunities with World Bank-funded projects.
