In recent years, technology in education has been growing but with an uneven adoption. However, the Covid-19 pandemic forced families and schools to aggressively adopt technology to manage their operations more effectively and efficiently and support many students’ educational development.

Nearly $4B of Global Venture Capital was invested in EdTech in the first quarter of this year, hitting the 2020 record of $16.1B, reflecting a sustained increase in results from funding for innovation in education and training worldwide. Similarly, during 2021, twelve rounds of investment of more than $5M for new companies, much more than in the last two years.
