International and regional entities with observer status to the UN Forum on Forests (UNFF) are invited to indicate the full composition of their delegation by sending the UNFF Secretariat an official letter on the organization’s letterhead and signed by the Executive Director listing the names and contact information (including email addresses) of each representative being nominated to participate in the UNFF session.
The thematic priorities for UNFF18 and UNFF19 are:
- Enhancing forest-based economic, social, and environmental benefits;
- Increase significantly the area of protected forests worldwide and other areas of sustainably managed forests, as well as the proportion of forest products from sustainably managed forests; and
- mobilizing financial resources and strengthening scientific and technical cooperation; promoting governance frameworks to advance implementation; and enhancing cooperation, coordination, and coherence, for sustainable forest management.
