USAID Rules and Regulations: Grants and Cooperative Agreements

Whether participants are new to USAID funding requirements or have years of program experience, at the end of this highly participatory training participants know how to navigate USAID rules and regulations to benefit their work. The experienced facilitators take participants step-by-step through the structure of USAID’s rules and regulations and introduce them to the USAID Award cycle.

Participants will return to the project able to easily find answers to questions about the award – from ‘are laptops allowable?’ to ‘does the international trip need prior approval?’ to ‘how do workers dispose of a vehicle?’. In addition to maintaining donor compliance, the people taking this course will also learn how to build strong working relationships with USAID and develop policies for the successful management of the grant or cooperative agreement.
