Online Research Conference Inclusive and Sustainable Development through Digital Trade and E-commerce

📅 26- 27 March 2024
Virtual

This online research conference provides a platform for researchers to contribute to evidence-based policymaking on digital trade and e-commerce for inclusive and sustainable development in the Asia-Pacific region.

The conference draws on selected papers contributed to the Asia-Pacific Trade and Investment Report (APTIR) 2023 Call for Papers. Its primary objectives are to bring together researchers, think tanks, and policymakers to engage in dialogue to foster inclusive and sustainable development in the Asia-Pacific region.

This conference benefits from the collaboration between the United Nations Economic and Social Commission for Asia and the Pacific (ESCAP), the Forum for East Asia and Latin America (FEALAC), and the Asia-Pacific Research and Training Network on Trade (ARTNet). The two-day conference will include two sessions. The first day’s session will focus on investigating the nexus between digital trade, e-commerce, and sustainable development aspects.

The second day’s session will concentrate on normative research that implies good policy practices for enhancing the opportunity to achieve inclusive development through digital trade and e-commerce.
