Pantelleria, Italy
Following a rigorous selection process, 30 islands and island groups have been chosen for support in achieving a fully renewable energy supply. This year’s forum aims to convene representatives from these islands alongside key players from the EU islands community.
Attendees can expect a comprehensive overview of the technical assistance initiatives underway and engage in discussions on relevant crosscutting issues. The forum also provides a unique platform to network with island stakeholders and gain insights into the specific challenges and needs of islands.
Key highlights include insights from a legal and regulatory study on national policies supporting clean energy transitions on European islands, fostering stronger relationships among stakeholders, and exploring Pantelleria’s innovative approaches to the energy transition.
