The EU Agency for Cybersecurity (ENISA) is organising the 9th eHealth Security Conference, in collaboration with the Hungarian Cybersecurity Centre. The conference will be a full-day physical event, hosted by Semmelweis University in Budapest, on November 6th, 2024.
Medical data and systems have become a major target of cybercrime over the past years. The complex healthcare ecosystem has been facing several cybersecurity challenges and could easily be jeopardized by ransomware, cybercrime, malicious actors, phishing campaigns, etc. The eHealth Security Conference will facilitate the exchange of invaluable insights for these growing challenges, to fortify the sector’s public and private entities against cyber threats.
The event will focus on the aspects related to the implementation of the NIS2 Directive for the health sector and will highlight the EHDS, AI, and other eHealth policy developments.
In the same context, the conference will include sessions dedicated to the constantly changing threat landscape and the health data sharing issues – inviting experts from different Member States to share their insights and expertise in these topics.
The conference is a great opportunity for the participants to remain up to date on the latest trends and best practices, as well as to connect with professionals and industry influencers and build valuable relationships.
