The Global Donor Platform for Rural Development’s Annual General Assembly will rethink how the international community can optimize limited official development assistance in food and nutrition.
Building on the recommendations of the 2024 State of Food Security and Nutrition in the World report, the event will discuss ways to urgently address the financing gaps for food systems, better coordinate donors, and harmonize stakeholder engagement.
The two days will provide opportunities for knowledge exchange and timely discussions on rural development. It will include reflections on the implications of innovative financing for rural youth employment and land governance.
