EU’s knowledge valorization policy aims to accelerate the uptake of R&I results to realize the full potential of R&I investments for a prosperous Europe. It is key for Europe’s economic resilience, innovation capacity, strategic autonomy, and societal welfare.
With the Political Guidelines of the new Commission placing R&I at the heart of the economy, and also the publication of the Letta and Draghi reports, this effort has received a new strong impetus.
The event will feature international perspectives and host a variety of sessions covering business-academia collaboration, socially responsible licensing, standards for innovation, citizen science, insights from the EUIPO and the EPO on the role of academia and SMEs, prize ceremonies, and much more. A panel will discuss the future of knowledge valorization.
