The Reproducible Research Fundamentals course is designed to enhance the skills and knowledge of research practitioners and partners in reproducible research.

Its comprehensive program covers all aspects of how to implement transparent and reproducible workflows, to effectively code in a team environment, and to keep personal data secure throughout the lifecycle of a research project.

The e-learning course is free and self-paced, with a time commitment of ~30 hours in total between March 4 and May 2, 2025. Participants are required to have prior knowledge of coding software (such as R, Python, Stata, etc.).

What participants will learn:

  • The importance of reproducibility in research is to ensure transparency, reliability, and validity of findings.
  • Effective techniques for cleaning, tidying raw datasets, constructing indicators, and applying best practices for data analysis.
  • Principles for handling personal data responsibly.
  • How to create reproducible research outputs for accountability and collaboration.
