Economist Impact, with the support of the official host, The Nippon Foundation, is proud to host the 12th World Ocean Summit in Tokyo, Japan. This global gathering comes at a pivotal moment, serving as a key forum for the ocean community to connect and engage ahead of the United Nations Ocean Conference in June 2025.
The summit will convene leading experts, policymakers, academics, and advocates to drive action toward a sustainable ocean economy. It will foster new partnerships across industries, NGOs, scientists, technology developers, and investors, facilitating collaboration that inspires innovative solutions and strategies to meet the 2030 targets of UN SDG 14.
