International Organization for Migration (IOM) and the Robert Bosch Stiftung have teamed up for “Amplifying Migrant Voices,” a new project launching in Kenya and Germany, according to a press release. Migrants in both countries will share their stories through surveys and group talks, helping shape fairer labor policies.
IOM’s Amy Pope says migrant voices often get left out, but this project puts their experiences at the center of decisions affecting their futures. The feedback from migrants will guide practical recommendations for governments and employers so that policies actually fit real needs.
Dr. Raphaela Schweiger from Bosch Stiftung highlights that combining expertise ensures migrants’ input truly makes a difference. The initiative supports the new Kenya–Germany Migration and Mobility Partnership, aiming for safer, more ethical migration pathways.
