2025 Annual Conference of the OECD Global Forum on Productivity

📅 15-16 September 2025
London, United Kingdom

The Global Forum on Productivity (GFP) fosters international collaboration among public institutions to advocate and implement policies that boost productivity. It enables institutions to share views, data, and undertake collective policy analysis, enhancing international cooperation.

The UK Department for Business and Trade and the Organisation for Economic Co-operation and Development (OECD) are pleased to host the 2025 Annual Conference of the Global Forum on Productivity (GFP) on the topic of:

“Industrial Strategies in a Globalised World: Delivering for All.”

Join leading experts, policymakers and representatives from civil society for a two-day conference that will explore the evolving landscape of industrial strategy and economic growth. Through engaging discussions, we will address key challenges in building a resilient, competitive, and sustainable economy.

Day one will feature a keynote on A New Era for Industrial Policy. Sessions will explore how industrial policies can enhance market dynamism and business investment, taking into consideration the gap between industrial policy in theory and practice.

Day two will explore how industrial strategies can promote regionally inclusive and environmentally sustainable economic progress, and reflect on how production is organised across borders.
