Webinar | Finnish Development Assistance: Procurement guidelines and best practices

Finland is recognized for its strong commitment to sustainable development. In 2024, the country allocated €1.3 billion in official development assistance, equivalent to 0.47% of its gross national income. This ranked Finland 12th among Development Assistance Committee member countries. Nearly half of this support is provided multilaterally with a strong focus on the rights of women and girls, sexual and reproductive health and rights, education, and climate action. The body responsible for implementing the country’s development cooperation policy is the Ministry for Foreign Affairs of Finland (MFA).
