Background

Since 2016 DevelopmentAid has successfully organized Development Forums around the world and our next destination is Vietnam – a true development success story marked by remarkable poverty reduction and outstanding economic growth. Part of the Great Mekong Subregion, Vietnam has made rapid progress towards economic prosperity and human development over the past 20 years. Poverty rates have declined from 58% in 1993 to 7.1% in 2015 and a number of Millennium Development Goals have been achieved. Crossed by the major economic corridors of South-East Asia and with a coastline which stretches for 3400 km, Vietnam has attracted substantial infrastructure investment over the last decade.
