Power substation helps Tajikistan light up homes in the country

A modern, fully automated, and reliable substation built 160 km south the capital city of Dushanbe distributes power 24/7 to over 300,000 households, helping Tajikistan achieve its goal of lighting up all homes in the country.

The Asian Development Bank is helping Tajikistan expand and modernize its energy infrastructure, boosting energy trade with neighboring countries and meeting winter energy shortages.
