1,250 Venezuelans enter Peru through the border point in Tumbes. They have traveled thousands of kilometers in buses, hitchhiking, on foot.
The High Commissioner visited the border point in his mission to assess the flows of Venezuelans leaving their country and how it’s impacting the region. Still, Peru and other countries hosting Venezuelans need more global support.
