The World Bank Group’s International Development Association (IDA) is supporting countries to stem the tide of fragility and foster peace and stability. In Niger, Ethiopia, Mali, and Yemen.

The bank is addressing the root drivers of fragility, helping to create economic opportunities for refugees and their host communities, leveraging the latest technologies to enhance the design and supervision of development projects, remaining engaged during the conflict, and training staff to better support clients in fragile settings.
