Improving education through greater accountability and resources in Punjab Province

Education opportunities for girls in Pakistan’s Punjab Province are increasing after major reforms have improved facilities, teaching, and learning by students.

More schools now have proper buildings and equipment that are regularly maintained. 100,000 new teachers have been recruited on merit and properly trained. Students are increasingly being taught through activity-based learning and receive free textbooks and now attend school tuition-free and look forward to contributing toward a bright future for Pakistan.
