Climate change is a challenge that affects everyone and everything on earth. Our natural environment is already facing serious challenges impacting food production and water resources.
Since 2011, UK aid is helping to save the planet and has already:

- created nature protection zones equivalent to the size of Brazil
- provided 17 million people with improved access to clean energy
- prevented 10.4 million tonnes of CO2 emissions entering the atmosphere
- helped over 47 million people all over the world to cope with and adapt to the effects of climate change and natural disasters.
