The world is at a pivotal moment when the global transition to a low-carbon economy is among the great challenges – and opportunities – of our lifetime.
Advancing the development of clean energy policy, technology and innovation globally is the new imperative. It is the meeting point between environmental and economic stewardship. CEM10/MI-4 is about addressing the challenges and seizing the opportunities of this clean growth century.
Following on the success of last year’s meetings in Malmö, Sweden, and Copenhagen, Denmark, Canada will seek to strengthen cooperation among governments, the private sector and international organizations by promoting international efforts to accelerate progress towards a clean energy future.
CEM10/MI-4 is key to these efforts, providing a platform for:
- High-level policy dialogue and sharing of best practices to help accelerate the transition to a low carbon future.
- International collaboration on clean energy innovation and adoption of clean energy policies and practices.
- Public-private engagement to build cooperation among industry, government, and civil society to scale up clean energy around the globe.
CEM10/MI-4 will bring together international players comprised of a diverse, dynamic group of clean energy advocates and leaders to advance clean technology and innovation.
