EU-South Africa research and innovation cooperation

The partnership between South Africa and Europe in the fields of science and technology is over 20 years old. The first cooperation agreements were signed in 1196, giving rise to more than 20 years of success and innovations for both partners.

Thanks to the ESASTAP project, EU is bringing European and South African researchers closer together to help tackle some of the big challenges facing our societies.
