Add to Preferred SourcesFAO and the Pontificia Universidad Javeriana are organizing the 2nd Latin America Urban Forestry Meeting.
The objective of the event is to stimulate exchange among international, regional and local stakeholders interested in the decision-making processes, best practices, lessons learned and opportunities for the proper design, establishment, maintenance and restoration of urban forests and green spaces in the Region.
The speakers of the different sessions will be selected according to the relevance and quality of their summaries. Some consideration will also be given to geographical distribution, to ensure that the Region is broadly represented, and to the type of contribution, to ensure that different categories of stakeholders are included. For others, there will also be an opportunity to present a poster.
