European Regions and Cities: Engines for Growth and Social Development?

The ability of European regions and cities to adapt to the global realities of the 21st century will largely determine the well-being of our continent.

This conference jointly organised by the Council of Europe Development Bank (CEB) and Caisse des Dépôts Group (CDC) will discuss the nature and scope of the growing challenges facing European regions and cities and how they could work together to cope with them.

It will gather local authorities, policymakers, academics and investors to debate policy tools and innovative financial solutions that can ensure sustainable and inclusive growth for all local communities across Europe.
