U.S. Agency for International Development, 2nd Overseas Small Business two-day conference will highlight USAID’s programming priorities and procurement needs for the Missions of Europe, Eurasia, Middle East, and Africa.
It will provide an opportunity for businesses to hear about what is happening in the regions and to network with USAID regional COs and CORS.
With the collaborative effort of Frankfurt M/OSO office and the Ukraine Mission, the outreach event will serve as an opportunity for Mission program, technical and contract officials to learn more about the capabilities of small businesses and the ways in which these firms can help USAID achieve its mission.
In addition to networking with USAID’s officials and large business prime contractors, the following U.S. Federal partners are invited to participate: U.S. Department of State, U.S. Department of Commerce (Minority Business Development Agency), U.S. General Services Administration, U.S. Department of Health and Human Services (Centers for Disease Control), the Millennium Challenge Corporation, and other federal agencies.
This event is open to representatives of small businesses and firms certified as 8(a) Program participants, Historically Underutilized Business Zones (HUBZones), Service-Disabled Veteran (SDVOSB), Veteran-Owned (VOSB), Women-Owned (WOSB) and Economically Disadvantaged Women-Owned (EDWOSB) small businesses.
