The Regional Conference is traditionally a forum to address current and emerging regional trends and challenges, but APRC 35 will also be an opportunity to highlight examples of innovation and digital technologies that are helping to improve food security and nutrition across the region.
With just a decade remaining to lift nearly half-a-billion people out of hunger in the world’s most populous region, governments, civil society and the private sector will gather for the 35th Session of the FAO Regional Conference for Asia and the Pacific.
Participants from some 46 countries are invited. The delegates will consider a wide range of issues, including a movement to get the latest technologies and innovations in food and agriculture into the hands of millions of smallholders across the region.
