The United Nations Conference on Trade and Development (UNCTAD) and its partners are organizing the second eTrade for Women eMasterclass for Africa, under the theme ‘Making women thrive in the digital economy – Operating a more resilient business in times of crisis’.
This eMasterclass, designed for women digital entrepreneurs in selected English-speaking East African countries, will help them better harness the digital transformations of their economies and societies, by:
- Strengthening their skills and abilities to grow a digital business, generate growth and ultimately contribute to sustainable development;
- Contributing to the emergence of an eTrade for Women network of women operating in the digital ecosystem of the region;
- Fostering a public-private dialogue between entrepreneurs and local policy-makers for a more inclusive digital economy.
This programme is supported by the Government of the Netherlands and implemented in cooperation with eTrade for all partners.
