Join the launch of the 2021 International Year for the Elimination of Child Labour.
During 75 minutes, you will engage with partners at the forefront of the fight against child labour on their expectations and plans for 2021. Different stakeholders will inform about the challenges they face and share ideas and initiatives on how everyone can contribute throughout the year. ILO will present the 2021 Action Pledges, and their three stages of acting, inspiring, and scaling up.
You will hear from ILO Director-General Guy Ryder, UNICEF Executive Director Henrietta Fore, and Nobel Peace Laureate Kailash Satyarthi in conversation with child labour survivor Amar Lal. Several stakeholders will announce their 2021 Action Pledges live and make calls for collaboration in ensuring these important targets are met by the end of the year.
