Detailed description of project

The development project of Cyprus Limni Resorts and Golf Courses, is located in Polis Chrysochou in Pafos District and features the following:

• A Hotel and more than 700 housing units
• Two ''Signature'' Golf Courses
• Two Clubhouses
• An Environmental Research center
• Restaurants & bars, retail & entertainment, sports facilities and other amenities.

The project involves also the rehabilitation of an abandoned copper mine.

The services provided included the following:

• Provision of technical-level support, monitoring the project progress, addressing environmental problems and provision of solutions.
• Preparation of an Environmental Impact Assessment Study for the Rehabilitation of an Abandoned Copper Mine
• Preparation of an Environmental Impact Assessment Studies for the 2 Signature Golfs (Golf 6 & 7)
• Preparation of an Appropriate Assesment Study
• Preparation of Traffic Impact Assessment Studies for the Golf Courses 6 & 7
• Environmental monitoring during the construction phase (de-pollution) of an abandoned copper mine which included the monitoring of ground water, surface water, sea water, noise, air and soil through site visits, sampling, analysis and preparation of monthly progress reports.
