Description

Location: New South Wales

Client: New South Wales State Government

Description:

John Holland operates under the new John Holland livery, three refurbished light axle load locomotives specifically suited to operations around the NSW country rail network.

This service distributes ballast, sleepers and rail as required for maintenance and upgrading of the CRN system.
John Holland has also commissioned the construction of twenty remote controlled ballast wagons and two ballast plough wagons to further enhance this service.
Timely ballast delivery is key for our customers in the rail sector and the integration of our safety practices across the activity will ensure greater safety for both customers and employees.
A further benefit for our customers is the reduction in cost and increased reliability, due to the reduced reliance upon external subcontractors.
