Description: The objective and the scope of the present assignment is to verify the design phases of the project and specifically of the civil works and the facilities needed for the sustainable renovation of the Africa Hall building.

The Design Review of the major renovations of the Africa Hall’s operational areas, conference halls, offices and general facilities covering a total area of 8,283 sq.m. The design review task is expected to include the sum of areas for all main works. This would include: Africa Hall Main Building (All Floor Levels), Visitors Entry Building, -External Works, Fountain Works and External Western Carpark. The review, aimed at verifying the functionality and proper execution of the project as a whole (multidisciplinary) has been carried out with a detailed analysis of the following disciplines / items: Architecture and Landscape; Heritage; Civil; Structural and Geotechnical; Asbestos Removal; Electro-Mechanical; Hydraulic; Bill of Quantity.

- Preliminary Analysis of the documents (concept, reports, drawings);

- 2 Days site visit and dedicated meetings with the Client and Stakeholders;

- Video Conference call held between Studio Martini Ingegneria / UNECA / Original Designer;

- Preliminary Analysis Report;

- Full Analysis Report with Detailed Comments and Observations.
