Contract description:

The purpose of this contract is to provide services to build capacity within the public and private sectors to effectively manage energy services and institutions critical to the energy sector and to improve governance in the energy sector through commercialization and reduced corruption.

The Clean Energy IDIQ Contract for Critical Priority Countries provides technical assistance services to implement United States Government initiatives in the energy sector in the Critical Priority Countries USAID assists. (CPCs are currently Iraq, Afghanistan, Pakistan, South Sudan and Yemen, and are subject to change.) The task orders that will be issued under the IDIQ Contract will be designed to improve access to reliable and affordable clean energy, improve education, regulation and governance in the energy sector, demonstrate the use of innovative technologies and business models, and assist with the transition to a low carbon development trajectory.
