Scope of Contract: Design and supervision of the installation of the IT infrastructure and systems for Anbessa bus operation

The main objective of this consultancy service is to assess and design ITS/ICT-based systems for ACBSE so that the operational efficiency and customer satisfaction of the service delivered is elevated to the level of international best practices and to meet the expectations of the public and management of the Enterprise.
To achieve this objective, the Consultancy Service shall attain the following sub-objectives:
*Identify operational challenges and ITS/ICT needs of ACBSE. At this stage the overall challenges and inefficiencies of the system from the perspective of customers and operators shall be investigated.
*Define the functional requirements of the Enterprise, this shall reflect the users’ needs (passengers and operators of the system comprehensively);
*Present a technical architecture that highlights areas that require integration and the respective cost estimates to ACBSE for endorsement and review.
*Design and develop engineering specifications of the ITS/ICT system requirements, which shall articulate and lead to the procurement of products;
*Assist bidding process and supervise the implementation of ITS/ICT system; and
*Develop capacity development/building program (that addresses both institutional and individual) so that the Enterprise can operate and manage the system effectively and efficiently.
