Description

(1) Drafting of procurement Law and Rules

(a) Review of the existing procurement procedure in GF&AR/ PW&FR.

(b) Presenting global best practices in the procurement law and practices.

(c) Drafting of comprehensive procurement Law and Rules and related implementation regulations

(d) Publishing the draft procurement Law and Rules and inviting comments of the stake-holders.

(e) Preparing a final draft of procurement Law and Rules incorporating suggestions/comments of the stake-holders.

 

2) Drafting of Standard Bidding and Contract Documents for Goods, Works and Standard Request for Proposals for Consultancy Services:

(a) Review of the existing standard bidding and contract documents.

(b) Drafting of standard bidding and contractual documents with guidance materials covering Goods, Works [covering ICB, NCB and Shopping] and Standard Request for Proposals for Consultancy Services [covering all possible methods of selections]
