Power System Development Project IV (Proposed Additional Financing) - Update

(i) Design, manufacture, testing & supply of High Temperature Low Sag (HTLS) conductor as well as associated hardware fittings and accessories viz., suspension clamps, dead end clamps, mid–span compression joints, repair sleeves, T-Connectors, vibration dampers, bundle spacers / spacer dampers, rigid spacers etc.

(ii) Survey & profiling of existing line route using Total station, verification of availability of statutory electrical clearance using PLS-CADD software; de-stringing of existing Conductor including dismantling of associated fittings & accessories from the 400kV D/C line and stringing of each circuit with HTLS conductor (approx. 2,132 kms) along with associated fittings and accessories with the other circuit under live conditions; proper and safe handling of ACSR Moose conductor during de-stringing, its storage at site, rewinding on drums at site and safe transportation to designated stores along the transmission lines and testing and commissioning of the restrung transmission line.
