The firm of consultants is expected to provide technical assistance to address the growing problem of managing urban transport efficiently. The basis for the work is the SUTMP implementation phase from 2013-2017 that guides in terms of strategic directions as well as the priority investment projects to be analysed.

The scope of work is divided into two work packages (WP):

WP 1: Bus Route Development and Operations Management for the City of Windhoek Division Public Transport

WP 2: Prefeasibility Study (PFS) for the introduction of trunk bus lines and LRT in Windhoek
