Project title: ISO-EMS, SCADA &IT Upgrade: Establishment of a new state-of-the-art IT system including the Energy Management System (EMS) and the Supervisory Control and Data Acquisition (SCADA) 

Contract description: Establishment of a new state-of-the-art IT system including the Energy Management System (EMS) and the Supervisory Control and Data Acquisition (SCADA) based on a modern platform that includes AGC and trading functionality for main transmission control centre. In addition, the Contract will include a new back-up transmission control centre with full SCADA/EMS/AGC functionality at the back-up location.

Scope of Contract: The principle objectives of this project are to provide the NOSBiH with a new suit of SCADA (Supervisory Control and Data
Acquisition) and EMS (Energy Management Software) hardware and software and related IT, TK and UPS equipment for managing the transmission network. The new system will replace the existing Siemens SINAUT Spectrum hardware and software and will be installed in the:

  • a new SCADA system in Sarajevo based on a modern SCADA/EMS
  • a new Back-up control centre inclusive of all the SCADA/EMS functionality

Duration of Contract: 22 months
