Scope of Contract: Construction Supervision and related services for Expressway No.1 - R8B (remaining works)

The works involve rehabilitation/reconstruction of remaining work for sub- section R8B of the Expressway No. 1 which is the main road axis in Iraq. The total length of this section is about 29 km long from Basra Junction towards Safwan, and it consists of the Rehabilitation /Reconstruction of the existing Expressway No. 1, existing road (removal of  Damaged pavement and repairing the Asphalt Layers; bituminous base course layer, binder layer and polymerized Asphalt (PG) wearing course layer), culverts, parking areas, bridges and existing interchange in the expressway, including but not limited to repair and improvement of traffic safety measures (steel guardrail, traffic signs, pavement marking ,road furniture, etc.), pavement reconstruction; Replacement of damaged bearings, expansion joints and handrail on bridges.
