Tender No.: RFP-DAN-2020- 503155

Purpose: Supply of AMC-Eligible Pneumococcal Conjugate Vaccines (PCV) that meet the requirements of eligible countries as specified in the Target Product Profile (TPP)

 The contract objectives have been derived from the AMC objectives described above and in the AMC Procedures Memorandum, and they incorporate the relevant Gavi Supply and Procurement Objectives as approved by the Gavi Board in June 2016. The objectives are in agreement with UNICEF’s overall procurement objective of Vaccine Security – the sustainable, uninterrupted supply of affordable, quality vaccines. The specific objectives for this tender are:
1. To diversify supplier base to improve market health.
a. Diversify NRA exposure
b. Improve long term competition
2. To achieve lower PCV price per dose that is sustainable for countries and manufacturers.
3. To secure uninterrupted supply of PCV to Gavi-73 countries for routine demand and new introductions.
