Description
Scope of the project was to strengthen and deliver training sessions to the laboratories (2 central laboratories and 10 regional laboratories) and inspection services (Food Directorate & Veterinary Directorate) Training/extension packages and programs related to food and feed safety were elaborated and delivered. Assistance with drafting and implementation of the food safety legislation as well as ISO 17025 for laboratories accreditation was provided. Development of the existing IT system for food safety issues and tracing was developed. Communication tools were developed as awareness campaigns to food processors and farmers and effective communication platform with relevant stakeholders.
