Description
Drinking water for the town of Ziniaré is supplied by the Ziga dam and funded by the Government of the Kingdom of Belgium, Maîtrise d'Ouvrage de Ziga (MOZ) was nominated project manager on behalf of the project owner (ONEA) and the Belgian Technical Cooperation was appointed by the Government of the Kingdom of Belgium to monitor and coordinate the project.
Construction work to be carried out by the Ziniaré drinking water conveyance network included:
- A water-tower in Boudtenga (150m3 - 15m high)
- A pumping station in Boudtenga (25l/s - 20m TMH)
- A water conveyance channel (PEHD DN 400 and 250mm, total length 13,745m)
- A distribution network in Ziniaré (PEHD, DN 10 to 160, total length 22,540m)
- The provision and installation of stand taps.
