Description

The overall objective of the project is to develop and implement the results of environmental monitoring  to improve the country’s economy, including the information on climate change.

The specific objectives include:

a. Analysis and adaptation of the EU experience in the field of application of environmental monitoring data to achieve social and economic development objectives.

b. Assessment of the “maturity” of the legal and regulatory base for distribution of environmental monitoring information at the federal, regional and municipal levels. Preparing improvement proposals.

c. Estimation if the amount, types, scope, timelines and other parametres of monitoring data are sufficient for it to be used in the economic processes (transportation, construction, agriculture, utility services, etc.).
