North west alternative route of Barbate on the road A-393

The preliminary Project for the North West alternative route to the road A-393 (currently A-314) is located in the municipal district of Barbate, region of la Janda (Cadiz).

The project was launched to connect and articulate the west area of Barbate, composed by the port and beaches, so that it is not necessary to cross the city to access these areas, whereby it will reduce vehicle traffic that the city undergoes, especially in summer.

Many alternative routes to connect roads A-314 and A-2233 have been considered in order to prepare the preliminary study. From these, a first selection was made by eliminating the alternatives that were very similar, and three were short listed for a final study with the aim of evaluate and find the best one.
