Purpose: To strengthen more than 50 Inuit communities on Canada’s Northwest Passage in the Arctic ocean to help protect some of the world’s most important northern marine habitats. Oceans North is a not-for-profit organisation that works to promote policies and programmes that address environmental changes to ensure that the Arctic waters are protected within the framework of Inuit knowledge, rights and consultation.
