Description

The objective of program was to further develop the export capacities of a selected group of Armenian SMEs from agribusiness sector, especially critical in the context of lasting economic crisis, providing these companies with export marketing knowledge and capability to enable them to effectively compete in international markets. Within the scope of the project Ameria was contracted by UNDP to implement various export promotion activities for the Armenian agribusiness companies. In particular, support was provided to sales and marketing teams of the selected SMEs in understanding the modern principles and requirements of their product’s export marketing, which contributed to the development of their export promotion skills. Additionally, the relevant agribusiness international trade fair was identified and the participation of the selected companies at this fair was ensured, which enabled them to properly present their products and establish new contacts at the potential export markets.
