The Consultant assists the METAP Secretariat along three main areas of work. The first one will be focused on METAP corporate communication. The other two will focus on communication support to environmental mainstreaming efforts in the member countries: the first one in Lebanon, Tunisia and Morocco and the other one on Egypt. Specifically, the program will utilize analytical and policy studies like the Cost of Environmental Degradation (COED) and the Country Environmental Analysis (CEA) as sources for developing communication program.

- Elaborate and implement a communication program
- Develop communication program and activities (i.e., website, printed materials, consolidation of the mailing list of key contacts, briefing and electronic information materials)
- Develop communication materials
- Develop a communication campaign
- Develop an outreach and mobilization program
- Assist media relation
- Monitoring and evaluation
- Draft of reports.
