Description:  Transportation of Goods by Road for IOM South Sudan Operations on a Long-term Agreement Basis. 

The Service Provider will be responsible for transportation of IOM goods stored in IOM or its partners’ storage facilities or elsewhere upon request of IOM. Requests for transportation of goods will be on ad-hoc basis. IOM will provide the date, delivery locations and quantity of vehicles required for transportation in advance giving reasonable time to the Service Provider to make necessary preparatory works and avail the transport. The Services should be rendered at any given time, including on the week-end or national holidays, upon request of IOM.

Type of required trucks is as follows: 

• 20-25MT cargo truck - Open body truck, medium-duty, 20t payload, folding walls for efficient loading and unloading (example Hino 700, Actros)
• 40MT cargo truck (20t with trailer) - Open body truck, heavy-duty, 40t payload, folding walls for efficient loading and unloading, tractor head make (example Hino, MAN, Actros)
• 40FT Container - Container, steel construction, heavy-duty, 40t payload, exterior hinged double doors at end, two locking bars on each door, factory-fitted lock box (example Hino, MAN, Actros)

Duration: initial duration of one year and extension may be envisaged depending on quality of Service Provider(s) performance
