Description: Radiology Report based on South-East Asian Region (SEAR), Lot 3

Radiology is a type of imaging technique that is used for taking images of internal parts of the body. This is usually done for treatment or diagnosis. Patient care is improved by teleradiology by making it possible for radiologists to provide their services without needing to be in the same location as the patient. Teleradiology makes it possible to have access to trained specialists on a 24/7 basis. It helps with diagnosis and frequently helps with getting a second opinion and assists with symptom control.
Teleradiology makes it possible for the images that the ER teams take to be examined by a radiologist located in a different location. This is particularly useful in rural areas. A trained radiologist can read certain images and make life-saving discoveries. Teleradiologists help immensely in determining the treatment the patient needs.
