Objective
Statistics Sweden's proposal for a grants agreement for the upcoming LFS 2020 module regarding "Accidents at work and other work-related health problems". The objective is to ensure a methodologically sound and valid implementation of the ad hoc module. This module aims to gather information related to health in the work place. There are three sub-modules: 1. Accidents at work 2. Work-related health problems 3. Risk factors for physical health and/or mental well-being Statistics Sweden will carry out the 2020 module Accidents at work and other work-related health problems through the labour force survey provided for by Council Regulation (EC) No 577/98. Expected results and delivarables will be: 1. The national microdata related to the module and integrated in the national LFS dataset to be transmitted following standard LFS practice. The national microdata related to the module should follow the requirements of the Commission Regulation (EU) No 2018/1709 on the LFS AHM 2020. The data file with the results of the ad hoc module will be sent to Eurostat before the end of March 2021. 2. An interim technical report (maximum 2 A4 pages) for regular monitoring of the implementation: the intermediate report on the degree of progress, details on the questionnaire testing and difficulties encountered should be supplied in December 2019. The final questionnaire for the module (original and English translation) will be annexed. 3. The quality report for the ad hoc module, which includes among others the placement of the module in the LFS questionnaire, sample selection, reference period and weights, data collection mode, non-response, difficulties in the implementation and recommendation for a future data collection, deviations from the model questionnaire and their justification. The report will follow the structure of template implemented in the ESS Metadata Handler. The quality report will have to be sent before 31 May 2021.
